Poem: Call from the vessels

Here's a poem, I won't say much for this as it is wrote for the sailing vessels and the valorous souls on board and my reflections over the current affairs.

The seas turned silent
The winds came to a halt
Calls from the vessels
Traveled thousands of miles
Spread over the skies

I sat there saying my prayers
A leaf fell in
I looked up at the moonlit sky
And saw the constellations
But not of Leo or Ara
They were the constellations of Sara,
Noor, Zain and thousands of others
They looked down on me
Questions in their eyes
'The vessels call you'
They said
'Do you dare to answer'

My heart leaps
I wish I could answer them
Say yes to the call
Burn the boats like they did
But how am I supposed to tell them
That I'm behind the bars
The bars I've created for myself
The bars so nugatory compared to the ones Sinwar faced
The bars I can break,
But am not brave enough to
The constellations disappeared

Air rustles again
Scent of the seas fills my chamber
I sit there on my prayer mat
Shedding tears over the thought
The shuddering thought of how will I face them
How will I tell them
That I'm behind the bars
The bars of my 'nafs'
