Assalamualaikum, I'm Ammara Mahmood, a homeschooler, an artist, a learner, and a human being. My engagements include my studies, home, family, and friends. I love drawing, painting, reading, writing, and spending time in nature.

I attended a formal school till the age of 11, but have been homeschooled since the age of 12, currently, I'm pursuing y O'levels privately. This blog is basically an outlet for my writing and poetry pieces that I have written over the years, I will try to make sure that you find some new content every time you visit, but I might be absent for quite some time due to other commitments. Poem: Memories

 Hello, I'm back, expecting an essay or story, well, you'll have to wait for another post but believe me, I will strictly refrain from posting any more poetry until I haven't published one or two essays or stories, even if they're bouncing in my diary to be published. Well, to be honest, I have a couple of essays and stories in my diary, but I'm too lazy to publish them, I know you might be wondering why am I too fast regarding poetry then, that's because poetry takes less time to jump in my mind, scribble on the paper, and type on the blog (I'm too lazy in typing :\ ). My unofficial last day at school

 کچھ عرصے کے ناغے کے بعد میں آخرکار لوٹنے میں کامیاب ہو ہی گئ، اب کی بار ایک بالکل نئے طرز کی تحریر کے ساتھ۔ یہ شاید اپنے طرز کی ایک ہی تحریر ہو میری طرف سے البتہ کچھ کہا نہیں جا سکتا کہ اب میں نے کچھ ایسا لکھ لیا ہے اور مجھے یہ نہ ظرف اچھا لگا ہے، بلکہ مزہ بھی آیا ہے۔   سب سے پہلے سرورق، یہ میرے ذہن میں چونکہ انگریزی میں آیا تھا سو میں نے اسے ایسے ہی لکھ ڈالا، میں شاید یہ پوری تحریر ہی انگریزی میں لکھ ڈالتی، لیکن پھر الفاظ کی قلت پڑگئ اور پھر یہ کوئی عام تحریر بھی تو نہیں تھی۔ اس تحریرمیں میں  نے اپنے احساسات و خیالات کو ایک کہانی کی شکل دی ہے۔  کہانی سے قارئین نے کیا نتیجہ اخذ کیا ہے، اور کہانی نے ان  پہ کیا تاثر چھوڑا ہے، یہ جان کر مصنف کو ہمیشہ خوشی ہوتی ہے میں بھی کسی نہ کسی حد تک اس صف میں شامل ہوں، سو یہ قیمتی تاثرات مجھے بھی خوشی دیتے ہیں۔   فروری ۲۰۲۰ کا پہلا ہفتہ تھا، کراچی کی ہوا میں کچھ خنکی، کچھ تمازت تھی۔ سرمئ یونیفارم پہ سرمئ سوئیٹر زیب تن کیے،  ۔کندھوں پہ نیلا بستہ لٹکائے (یا شاید بستہ کالا تھا، یاد نہیں) خیر میں اسکول کی بلڈنگ ...

  Hello readers, I'm back after a short break. I think this time is enough for a break, not too long, nor too short So today's poem is on the topic of the ongoing Palestine issue, maybe I'm quite late in this regard, and I should've done this pretty sooner, well, I had intended to do so, but ideas won't come to me and yet, when they had finally sprung up, I picked up my pen and started filling pages of my diary.
